Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics® (SCCE®) & Health Care Compliance Association® (HCCA®) is currently seeking nominations to fill positions on the SCCE & HCCA Board of Directors. All board nominations, including those for incumbent members, must be submitted in writing with all supporting documents, on or before Friday, July 31, 2026.
Rules Governing the Nomination, Election, and Appointment Process
Any member of SCCE or HCCA wishing to be considered for nomination or individual wishing to nominate another member should complete a Nomination Cover Sheet and Nomination Statement form and submit them with all required supporting documentation emailed to SCCE & HCCA Member Services.
Board nominations will be reviewed by the SCCE & HCCA Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee will present a slate of nominees to the Board of Directors as candidates to fill the Director positions for the full Board’s review and approval. Virtual interviews may also be included as part of the selection process for finalists.

Position Description
SCCE & HCCA director positions are voluntary and open to members of either association. Among other duties, directors are expected to attend two to three meetings a year.
Director (three-year term)
The office of SCCE & HCCA Director is a voluntary position, open to members of either association. For 2026/2027 the SCCE & HCCA Board of Directors is expected to consist of up to 16 directors. The Board annually elects the Officers for the organization from amongst the directors. The Board typically meets two to three times each year in-person, along with other virtual meetings that may arise from time to time. Board members are expected to participate in these meetings. Board members who also serve on committees are asked to participate in additional virtual meetings and conference calls periodically throughout the year. Reimbursement for expenses incurred by Board members related to Board meeting travel and lodging is provided by the association in accordance with the established Board travel policy.
